We would love for you to come by our school to take a tour and inquire about availibility to register! Full facility tours are given between the hours of: 9:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Appointments are optional. You must provide us with a photo ID, sign-in and wear a visitor badge while visiting our campus.  SpringStone Carmel is conveniently located in the North East Heights with easy access to Paseo del Norte and I-25.
SpringStone Montessori School is a state of the art early learning facility that has much to offer Albuquerque families. We are at the cutting edge in early learning services and education for young children. We are the only center in New Mexico to have a language based playground, large covered patios in all of our playgrounds, surveillance cameras with monitors for parents to view their children, windows on all interior walls for the safety of our children and a complete restaurant kitchen. Each classroom is self contained with 5-7 interest/learning centers. Children are able to choose their own learning activities because learning materials are always located on low open shelves Language development and pre-reading activities are a daily routine at SpringStone. Several reading programs are used, carefully selected for their language content. These include the traditional Montessori methods and other phonics and whole language centered learning activities. SpringStone Montessori curriculum also concentrates on mathematics & numbering, science experiments, practical life activities, arts, crafts, large and small muscle skills, sensory activities, and grace and courtesy. All of these activities are necessary for Kindergarten readiness and at SpringStone they are number one on our list of priorities.
Snacks will be served to all children who are in the building during snack times. Breakfast and Lunch will be served to all children attending for the full day. Parents will be asked to bring some snacks from home. Meals are served in each classroom with teachers and children eating and serving themselves family style.
Teacher staff ratios are 1 to 4 for children 6 weeks to 12 months, 1 to 5 for children 12 months to 24 months, 1 to 7 for children 24 months to 36 months, and 1 to 10 for older preschool children.
SpringStone is also a safe facility designed with parents in mind. The doors are kept locked with keypad access for parents. The facility also has a 6 foot wrought iron fence around the playground. We are equipped with cameras and intercoms in all classrooms. You can be well assured that your child is well cared for.
Since we have an open door policy, parents may come and go as they wish, at any time during the day. Parents may visit the school without appointments.
